OpenDeFi closes $1 Million USD funding round

OpenDefi announces $1 million USD funding round

OpenDefi, powered by Oropocket is proud and grateful to announce that we have successfully closed a funding round of $1 million USD.

OpenDefi is bridging the gap between real world assets and DeFi.

OpenDeFi enables users to buy, sell and trade in tokenised real world assets.

They also enjoy a ton of financial services like staking, flash loans, earning yield on what used to be dead assets and even a card to instantly liquidate their investments to spend and transact online or offline.

The seed round was led by Kenzi Wang, AU21 Capital, with the private round being led by GenBlocks.

Beyond the fundraising round:

The team has prioritised onboarding strategically valuable operators and advisors, and seen overwhelming support.

We are proud to have pioneer advisors like David Atkinson and Andrey Shirben and to be backed by some of the best funds in the blockchain and crypto space.

Our institutional investors include the likes of AU21, O1EX, GenBlocks, TRG Capital, Alphabit Fund, Lotus Capital and MoonRock Capital.

With these funds we will scale the network, harness the power of DeFi for more users and add more assets and services.

With the successful close of our funding round and an incredible set of stalwarts onboard, we’re only getting started and the milestones will keep coming as we bridge the gap between real world assets and DeFi.
