You cannot send gold to a bank. So getting cash out is two things: sell the metal, then withdraw the rupees.

Smallest withdrawal ₹100
Largest, per transaction ₹5,00,000
Fee ₹0
Time to reach your bank Up to 24 hours

Step 1: Get the app

Download OroPocket from oropocket.com/app, then sign in with your mobile number and the OTP we send you.

Step 2: Sell your gold or silver

Tap SELL on the home screen. Pick gold or silver, then enter how much you want to receive. Tap Switch to Grams if you would rather sell an exact quantity.

Step 2: pick the metal and the amount, then tap SELL NOW.

Tap SELL NOW. The rupees go into your Rupee Wallet inside the app, not to your bank.

Step 3: Add your bank account

Tap the INR card in the ASSETS row on the home screen to open your Rupee Wallet, then tap ADD BANK.

Fill in the account name, account number and IFSC code.

Step 3: the IFSC field fills in your bank and branch once you finish typing it.

Two things to get right:

  • The account must be in your own name.
  • After you type the IFSC, the bank and branch appear below it. If that is not your branch, the IFSC is wrong.

You only do this once. The account stays saved for next time.

Step 4: Withdraw

Back in the Rupee Wallet, tap WITHDRAW. Enter the amount, choose the bank account, and tap PROCEED TO WITHDRAW.

Step 4: enter the amount and tap PROCEED TO WITHDRAW.

The money is sent over NEFT and usually reaches the bank within a day.

If the withdraw screen shows less than your balance

Some rupees in the wallet are credit given by us, from a reward or a refund. That part can only be used to buy gold or silver, so it does not appear as withdrawable.

It becomes withdrawable once you sell whatever it bought.

Common questions

Can I withdraw gold directly to my bank? No. Sell it first, then withdraw the rupees.

Can I send it to someone else’s account? No, the account has to be in your name.

Why is the sell price lower than the buy price? There is always a gap between the two, on every platform. It moves during the day, so check the sell rate before you sell.
