OroPocket product update

Superstreak is a daily investing streak inside the OroPocket app. Buy ₹100 or more of gold or silver on a given day and that day counts. You earn satoshi that grow as the streak grows, and every few days the streak pays you bonus gold on top. It is live now.

The idea behind it is the one this whole app is built on. Gold is the asset Indian families have trusted for generations. Bitcoin is the one the next generation is curious about. Superstreak pays you a little of both for doing the least glamorous thing in investing, which is showing up again tomorrow.

What a day is worth

Day one pays 1 satoshi. Day two pays 2. Day nine pays 9. The number is simply the day you are on, and it keeps climbing until it reaches 50 satoshi a day, which is where it settles.

Satoshi are the smallest unit of bitcoin, and here they work as a score. They accumulate in your account and they only ever go up while the streak is alive. You are not buying bitcoin with your own money at any point.

What a bonus day is worth

Your first bonus lands on day 3, then every 5 days after that. Three things arrive at once:

• Bonus gold, into your vault
• 100 bonus satoshi
• 1 free spin

The gold is worked out from what you actually invested over that round, multiplied by your level’s rate. There is no separate charge for any of it. You are buying the same gold you were going to buy anyway, and the bonus sits on top of it.

Levels, and what they really mean

Your level is a daily amount you are aiming at. Set it higher and the bonus rate goes up, because the bonus is a share of what you put in.

The rate is a ceiling, not a badge

You are paid the rate your round actually sustained, capped at your level. Sit on Alchemist and average ₹150 a day, and you get paid at Miner’s rate for that round. The level sets what you are aiming at. The money you put in decides what you collect. Drop back to ₹1,000 a day and the next bonus is paid at ×10 again, with nothing held against you.

Miss a day

You will miss a day. Everybody does. So the streak earns a freeze for every 10 days you keep it, and holds up to 2 of them. Miss a day with a freeze in hand and the freeze covers it. The streak carries on as though you were there.

Freezes are earned and never sold. If you miss a day with none left, the streak resets to one and you drop a single level, not all of them. Your longest run stays on your record.

Where you stand

There is a leaderboard, and it is ranked on consecutive days only. Not on how much you invest, not on what your portfolio is worth. A ₹100 saver on day forty is ahead of a ₹10,000 saver on day three, which is the entire point of ranking a habit rather than a balance.
