How to Earn and Withdraw Bitcoin Cashback on OroPocket

Every time you buy gold or silver, a small amount of Bitcoin is added to your account. You do not buy it and you cannot buy it here. It only ever arrives as cashback on a purchase.

It is measured in satoshis, or sats, which are the smallest unit of Bitcoin, the way paise are to a rupee.

Step 1: Get the app

Download OroPocket from oropocket.com/app, then sign in with your mobile number and the OTP we send you.

Step 2: Buy gold or silver

That is the whole earning mechanism. There is nothing to opt into.

The confirmation screen tells you what the purchase will pay before you hand over any money.

SIP instalments earn it too, so a running SIP keeps adding sats without you doing anything.

How much you earn scales with how much gold and silver you already hold. Bigger holdings move you up a tier and each purchase pays a larger share. The figure on the confirmation screen is the one that applies to that purchase.

Step 3: Find your sats

Tap VIEW ALL in the ASSETS row on the home screen, then tap BITCOIN.

This is where your balance, your linked wallets and every reward you have been paid are listed.

Step 4: Link a wallet and withdraw

Tap LINK WALLET and add a Bitcoin address you control. Then tap WITHDRAW.

Two things to know before you try:

• The smallest withdrawal is 30,000 sats. Below that the balance stays in the app until it grows.
• There is no fee to withdraw.

Send it to an address you control and have checked. A Bitcoin transfer cannot be reversed by us or anyone else.

Common questions

Can I buy Bitcoin here? No. It is only ever earned as cashback on a gold or silver purchase.

Can I sell the Bitcoin for rupees in the app? No. You withdraw it to your own wallet and do what you like with it there.

Do I need to claim it? No, it is credited automatically.

What if I have fewer than 30,000 sats? It stays in your account and keeps growing with each purchase.
